The PVC-U backing ring with a diameter of 250 mm is a solution for the most demanding pool and water technologies, where the large pipe diameter places increased demands on the mechanical strength of the connections. The flange allows regular inspections and replacement of connected components without dismantling the entire pipe system.
The PVC-U material resists both aggressive chemicals and UV radiation in the case of surface installation. The flange ring is shaped to ensure even distribution of tightening forces around the entire circumference of the gasket.
The weight of the part is significantly lower than that of comparable steel or cast-iron flanges, which facilitates handling during installation. Compatible with EPDM or NBR rubber gaskets for permanent watertightness of the connection.
