Balboa CLIM8ZONE II 4 kW – Heat Pump for Hot Tubs

Balboa CLIM8ZONE II 4 kW is a modern, space-saving inverter heat pump designed for hot tubs and cold plunges. Even with a small footprint it offers precise temperature maintenance, heating and cooling, and top energy efficiency (COP 5–10×, up to 15× in ideal conditions) – meaning a fundamental saving compared to a classic heating coil. It can operate in the cold down to −5 °C and runs very quietly (below 45 dBA).

Connection and installation

The unit is supplied with a set of two 1.5″ threaded three-part unions, which screw onto the heat pump, and two glue adapters for 2″ piping (glue not included). It can be used with a circulation or two-speed pump; in this configuration a control valve must be installed to set the flow. The pump is pre-wired with a 4-metre cable with a 4-pin AMP connector and integrates smoothly with Balboa BP control systems and SpaTouch/TP7 panels.
