Regular removal and cleaning of the basket extends the service life of the pump and maintains its maximum flow throughout the season.
The fine mesh of the basket is designed to allow a sufficient amount of water to pass through with minimal flow resistance.
We recommend acquiring a spare basket as a reserve in case of loss or breakage, so that the skimmer can function immediately without interruption.
