The BESGO 5-way valve is a pneumatically operated valve designed for pool filtration systems with higher flow rates and pipe diameters of d63 mm or d140 mm. The pneumatic drive operates at a pressure of 3–5 bar and allows remote or automatic switching of operating modes.
The five-way design covers all standard positions of a pool filtration valve: filtration, backwash, rinse, waste and bypass. Switching from filtration to backwash takes place without interrupting pump operation and without water hammer.
A safety function ensures that, when the control pressure drops (compressor power failure), the valve automatically returns to the FILTRATION position, thereby preventing accidental draining of the pool. The valve’s low pressure loss maximises the efficiency of backwashing the filter media.
Suitable for automated filtration stations of public and private pools with higher water flow.
