The bulb cover nut seal is a rubber sealing ring that ensures a watertight connection of the gland nut to the rear cover of the 300W PT pool light.
Despite its small size, this part performs a key function – without a proper seal, water penetrates into the electrical part of the luminaire, which can cause a short circuit and the risk of electric shock. The seal is subject to natural ageing and it is recommended to replace it each time the luminaire is opened.
The original seal made of the correct elastomer ensures long-term flexibility and resistance to chemicals used in pool water treatment. After replacement, always check the watertightness of the luminaire before switching it on again.
