Calzestab Eisenex 1 l

Calzestab Eisenex is a liquid product that prevents the precipitation of calcium and other minerals contained in pool water. It prevents their reaction with the dosed pool chemicals, thereby reducing chemical consumption in hard water.

About water hardness

Water hardness is mainly caused by dissolved calcium and magnesium (the Ca:Mg ratio is usually 2:1 to 4:1). The harder the water, the more limescale builds up on the pool walls. For a pool, it is optimal to keep the hardness at no more than the level of moderately hard water. As pool water evaporates, the water becomes harder.

Approximate hardness scale

• 0–4 dGH / 0–70 ppm: very soft water
• 4–8 dGH / 70–140 ppm: soft water
• 8–12 dGH / 140–210 ppm: moderately hard water
• 12–18 dGH / 210–320 ppm: hard water
• 18–30 dGH / 320–530 ppm: very hard water
