Alkalinity PLUS is used to raise and stabilise the total alkalinity of water in pools and hot tubs, helping to maintain a stable pH value. It is a fine white powder that is poorly soluble in water. Check the alkalinity and pH values continuously with a tester; hard water usually requires a higher dose, soft water a lower one.
Dosing
24 g of the product raises the alkalinity in 1 m³ of water by 0.35 mmol/l (35 ppm). Dose the measured amount directly along the wall of the pool or hot tub.
Safety
Do not eat, drink or smoke while working. Do not mix with other chemicals. Avoid contact with acids, 2-phenylaldehyde and ammonium phosphate. In case of eye contact, rinse with water for 10-15 minutes; if problems persist, seek medical attention. Store in a dry place.
