pH PLUS is a product for raising the pH value of water in pools and hot tubs. The ideal pH range for both chlorine and chlorine-free disinfection is 7.2-7.6. If the pH falls outside this range, the effectiveness of disinfection decreases and its consumption rises, the water may become cloudy, algae form and irritation of the eyes and skin may occur.
Properties
A fine white powder, poorly soluble in water. Its aqueous solution reacts alkaline, thereby easily raising the water pH.
Dosing
10 g of the product per 1 m³ of water raises the pH value by 0.1. Stir the measured dose in a container with water and add it to the pool or hot tub with the circulation running.
Safety
Do not mix with other chemicals. Do not eat, drink or smoke while working. In case of eye contact, rinse with water for 10-15 minutes; if problems persist, seek medical attention. Keep tightly closed in a dry place. Avoid contact with acids, 2-phenylaldehyde and ammonium phosphate.
