The quartz tube cap is a genuine component of the Elecro UV steriliser used to close and seal one end of the quartz tube protecting the UV lamp. The correct function of the cap is a prerequisite for the watertightness of the entire UV module and the safe operation of the steriliser.
The cap is made from a material resistant to UV radiation, ozonisation and the temperatures generated by the UV lamp. With every replacement of the UV lamp or quartz tube, we recommend checking the condition of the cap and, if worn, replacing it with a new genuine part.
Using a genuine Elecro cap guarantees the correct sealing geometry and reliable watertightness, which protects the steriliser electronics from moisture. The part is compatible with the relevant Elecro UV steriliser models.
