The ceramic shaft seal is a key sealing element of ESPA pool pumps of the Silen, Silen 2, Silen S, Silen S2, Tifon, and Nadorself series in versions from 2007 onwards.
The seal prevents water from penetrating into the bearings and the motor section of the pump, thereby protecting the entire pump from premature wear and damage.
Thanks to the use of durable ceramic, the seal retains its function even during long-term operation in chemically treated pool water.
Replacing the seal is an accessible and economical way to extend the operability of the pump without the need to purchase a new unit.
