The check valve (position 18) is a hydraulic part of the Elecro G2 heat exchanger that prevents undesirable backflow of water at the moment when the circulation pump stops working.
The 1″ thread allows easy direct connection to standard pool piping or fittings without the need for a reducer.
The reliable function of the valve protects both the heat exchanger and the pump against hydraulic surges and the water column arising during the start and stop of circulation.
Replacement is recommended upon detecting a water leak or impaired tightness of the check closure, which manifests itself as a drop in pressure in the circuit.
