The check valve d40 made of PVC-U material is manufactured by a Portuguese producer and combines a durable body with a stainless steel spring made of AISI 302 steel and an EPDM elastomer seal. It prevents the backflow of water when the pump is switched off or when the pressure in the system drops.
The maximum working pressure of 16 bar at a temperature of 20 °C (or 10 bar at 40 °C) covers the requirements of standard pool filtration as well as more demanding technological applications. The EPDM seal is resistant to pool chemicals, ozone and UV radiation.
The valve is installed on the pipe branch downstream of the pump and protects it from water hammer. The joints are intended for gluing with standard PVC adhesive, which ensures a quick and firm installation.
