The cooling fan cover for the Espa Silen S model is shaped to fit the rear part of the pump motor and snaps on without tools. Its main purpose is to direct the cooling air flow across the motor fins.
A damaged cover causes ineffective cooling and can lead to thermal overload of the windings. Replacing this part is one of the quickest service operations when repairing a Silen S pump.
The original plastic part resists moisture, UV radiation and pool chemicals and retains its mechanical properties throughout its entire service life.
