The cooling fan is a key part of the electric motor of the QWERTZ counter-current pump. Mounted on the motor shaft, it generates an airflow during operation that dissipates heat from the motor windings and prevents the unit from overheating even during prolonged continuous operation.
A damaged or broken fan leads to rapid overheating of the motor and a shortened service life; timely replacement with a genuine spare part is therefore an economically advantageous preventive measure. The fan is made of durable plastic that withstands vibrations and the temperatures generated during motor operation. Installation is straightforward and requires no special tools.
