The cooling fan cover screw is a small fixing element that holds the protective plastic cover of the motor fan of the Espa BASIC pump in place. The cooling fan dissipates heat from the motor and thus extends its service life.
A missing or damaged screw can cause the protective cover to loosen or be lost, whereby the fan would become accessible and could cause injury or be mechanically damaged against surrounding objects.
The original screw ensures a precise fit and the correct function of the attachment. Although it is a small part, its presence is a prerequisite for the safe and correct operation of the pump in accordance with safety regulations.
