CTX 10 is a granulated preparation based on bisulphate acid for quickly lowering the pH of pool water. The correct pH value (7.2-7.6) is crucial not only for the effectiveness of chlorine disinfection, but also for the comfort of bathers – an overly high pH causes eye irritation and reduces the disinfecting ability of chlorine.
The granulate is easy to measure and apply directly into the pool with the filtration running, ideally near the inlet jet. The preparation dissolves quickly and the resulting drop in pH is noticeable within 30-60 minutes. Check the effect with a tester or test strip.
The 1.5 kg packaging is suitable for home pools up to 40 m³ and for ongoing pH corrections during the season. For larger pools or the initial correction of strongly alkaline water, we recommend the 7-kilogram packaging. Store the preparation in a dry place in a closed container.
