Chloramines are by-products of chlorine disinfection that cause the typical unpleasant odour and can irritate the eyes and respiratory tract. The CTX 23 granulate effectively breaks down these compounds and restores the disinfecting efficiency of the free chlorine in the pool.
The product in granulate form is easy to dose and dissolves quickly in water. The result of use is rapid – the water loses its characteristic chlorine odour and becomes more pleasant for bathing. It is recommended to apply it when an increased level of combined chlorine is detected or when there is a pronounced odour.
The 5 kg pack covers the treatment of even larger pools or repeated use over the course of the season. The granulate is compatible with standard chlorine disinfection and does not affect the pH of the water. The correct pH (7.2–7.6) must be checked after each application.
