The drain grille no. 00269 is a spare part intended for covering and protecting the drain openings in the floor or walls of a hot tub. The grille prevents hair, fibers and coarse debris from being drawn into the pump and hydraulic circuit.
A properly functioning drain grille is also a safety element preventing the entrapment of users’ skin or hair at the drain opening. A regular inspection of the grille’s integrity should be part of the standard maintenance of the hot tub.
The grille is made of plastic resistant to pool chemicals and UV radiation. Replacement of a worn or damaged grille is quick and requires no special tools.
