The droplet tester for pH and chlorine allows you to carry out a basic analysis of pool water without expensive devices or sending samples to a laboratory.
When measuring chlorine, add 6 drops of Orthotolidine (yellow cap) to the measuring vial with water; when measuring pH, use 6 drops of Phenol red (red cap).
You read off the result by comparing the colouring of the sample with the clear colour scale directly on the tester – the whole procedure takes less than a minute.
Regular testing of the water with this tester helps to maintain balanced parameters and to prevent irritation of bathers’ skin and eyes.
