The Duke Cl drop tester allows you to quickly and accurately check the total (active) and free chlorine in water. The visual reading according to the colour scale can be managed by anyone, making it suitable for home users and operators of smaller wellness facilities. Checking total chlorine helps prevent over-chlorination and the health risks associated with combined chlorine. One set of reagents lasts for approximately 120 measurements.
How to measure
- Rinse the cup with the water to be tested and fill to the mark
- Add 5 drops of reagent C1 and 5 drops of C2, close and mix
- Wait approx. 2 minutes and compare the colour with the colour card
- Measure in the shade, not in direct sunlight; slow colour development may indicate a higher proportion of combined chlorine

The reagent contains acetic acid (approx. 20 %), which irritates the skin and eyes. Store in the original packaging, in a cool and dry place (5–20 °C), away from food and children.
