DUKE G drop tester for guanicide (disinfection)

The DUKE G drop tester is used to determine the concentration of a disinfectant with a GUA component (guanicide) in pool or hot tub water and allows up to 120 measurements. We recommend taking measurements once a week; the recommended disinfection level is 0.3-0.8 on the colour disc.

Measurement procedure

• Rinse the cup and lid well with the water to be tested
• Fill the cup with water up to the mark
• Add 5 drops of reagent B1, close and mix
• Add 5 drops of reagent B2, close again and mix
• Determine the value by comparing with the colour discs from a height of 3-5 cm above a white surface in good light
