Replacement UV lamp with an output of 40 W and a red cap for UV sterilisers of the ECO-TECH series. The core of the steriliser is a special lamp that, when lit, intensively emits UV radiation and is hermetically sealed in a housing that does not transmit UV rays.
Principle and application
UV-C radiation is lethal to most organisms, which is why it destroys algae, parasites, fungi, viruses, yeasts and bacteria contained in water, completely without chemicals. Ultraviolet radiation is invisible electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength of 4-400 nm and a frequency of 10^15-10^17 Hz, makes up less than 5 % of the solar spectrum and lies between visible light and X-rays. It consists of the components UVA, UVB and UVC.
