The 90° elbow made of PVC-U with an internal 1/2 inch thread and a d25 mm socket allows a change in the direction of the pipe run at a right angle and at the same time a transition between a hose and a threaded connection. It is one of the most frequently used parts when building pool pipework.
The socket side connects to a pipe with a diameter of 25 mm (by gluing or mechanical fixing), the side with the internal thread accepts the external thread of a fitting or a 1/2 inch nipple. The PVC-U material resists chlorinated water and common pool chemistry.
The part is suitable for cold and hot water distribution up to 60 °C and an operating pressure of up to PN 16. During installation, it is recommended to use sealing tape on threaded joints and PVC glue on smooth joints.
