The FIP electric two-way ball valve with a large diameter of 90 mm is used to shut off the flow in the piping of solar systems. The 230 V actuator is manufactured to FIP specifications.
The valve withstands a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar at 20 °C. Safely locked seats allow the liquid to be drained from the piping even with the obturator in the closed position. The new seat and Seat Stop seal design ensures axial pressure locking in the pipe and precise adjustment of the obturator seats.
The standard equipment includes manual emergency override with an optical position indicator and two limit switches. In more demanding installations it is advisable to support the valve with hangers or anchors capable of bearing the weight and the stresses from the valve body; design the support systems with regard to the expansion and contraction of the piping.
