The electrolytic cell 3P is the key operating part of a salt chlorinator, in which the electrolysis of table salt into disinfecting chlorine takes place. The cell is compatible with the Poolsquad 35 and NPS 8/40 salt chlorinators from Pool-technologie.
The lifespan of the cell is usually between 3 and 7 years, depending on the water temperature, salt content and overall operation. Replacing a worn cell is the most economical way to restore the functionality of an existing salt chlorinator without having to purchase an entirely new device. After replacing the cell, the unit immediately restores its standard chlorine production.
