The flange collar performs both an aesthetic and a sealing function at the point where the ball valve transitions into the glued PVC pipe. When replacing the valve or in case of damage to the original collar, it must be replaced to maintain the tightness of the joint.
The collar is made of PVC resistant to pool chemicals and is precisely dimensioned for the 140050S valve model with a diameter of 50 mm. Glued installation guarantees lasting tightness even under variable pressure in the circulation circuit.
When replacing the valve, we recommend always replacing the collar and the union nut with new parts to achieve optimal sealing of the entire joint.
