The light flange is used to mount the PT 300 W luminaire (type KOR732) into a concrete or liner pool wall and ensures its precise position as well as a watertight joint with the niche. If the existing flange cracks or deforms, water may penetrate the electrical installation.
The part is made of a durable thermoplastic that resists UV radiation, pool chemistry and temperature differences. Replacing the flange is usually part of a complete light service, during which the other plastic components are also replaced.
