The flat stub flange made of PVC-U with a diameter of 225 mm covers the most extensive installations of public pools and water parks, where pipe diameters are significantly larger than in the private sector. Together with a d225 backing flange it allows the creation of a robust flange joint with the option of disassembly.
The PVC-U material withstands operating temperatures and pressures typical for pool technology, while it does not exhibit corrosion even with long-term contact with chlorinated or ozonated water. The weight of the part is significantly lower than that of steel alternatives, which facilitates handling during installation at height or in tight spaces.
The precise dimensions of the stub flange comply with the DIN standard, so it can be combined without problems with foreign and domestic flange systems. A suitable seal is EPDM or NBR with a diameter of 225 mm.
