The flat PVC-U stub flange for pipes with a diameter of 50 mm forms an indispensable part of the flange connection system. Fitted onto the end of the pipe, in cooperation with a backing ring it allows the creation of a demountable yet watertight connection of two pipe sections.
The flat profile of the stub flange ensures even seating of the gasket around the entire circumference of the connection, thereby preventing leaks even at higher operating pressure. The PVC-U material is resistant to chlorinated water and common pool chemicals.
Its compact dimensions and low weight facilitate handling even in tight technical spaces. The stub flange is normally combined with a backing ring of the same diameter and a flat EPDM gasket.
