The gasket under the pre-filter lid of the M-Swim pump is a genuine spare part that seals the joint between the lid and the body of the pump pre-filter and prevents water leakage during operation.
A worn or deformed gasket causes dripping around the lid, a pressure drop in the system and increased pump noise. Replacing this small part is therefore the cheapest and quickest solution to these symptoms.
The genuine gasket is made of a material chemically resistant to pool water and disinfectants, so after replacement it ensures the tightness of the joint throughout the next operating season.
