The glue cap PVC d50 PN16 is used for the permanent closure of a free pipe end or an unused socket of a fitting with a diameter of 50 mm. After applying PVC adhesive it creates a watertight and pressure-resistant joint with a PN16 strength.
The PVC-U material ensures resistance to the chemicals of pool water and does not lose its dimensional or mechanical stability even during long-term operation. The cap is compatible with all standard PVC-U fittings and DIN 8062 pipes.
It is used for the temporary or permanent closing of pipe branches, during the phased construction of a pool or for blanking off service outlets.
