The two-part PVC-U union with diameters of both sockets of 25 mm (glue/glue) is a practical connector allowing a detachable connection of piping at points where future access or component replacement is anticipated. Both parts of the union are glued into the pipe and the central connector allows separation with a simple turn.
The 25 mm dimension is commonly used in systems leading to filters, pressure gauges or chemical dosers of pool systems. The PVC-U material withstands chlorinated as well as ozonated water without damage to the surface or loss of mechanical strength.
