The PVC-U glue/glue union with a diameter of 40 mm serves to create a firm yet detachable joint on pool piping of larger dimensions. Both sockets of the union are glued into the pipe and the central screw connection allows separation without damaging the installation.
The 40 mm diameter finds application in the main circulation branches of private pools or in branches leading to heat pumps and counter-current units. The smooth internal surface minimizes turbulence and contributes to lower pump energy consumption.
The EPDM or NBR rubber seal inside the union ensures a reliable tightness of the joint at standard operating pressures. The entire union is made of precision-machined PVC-U to ensure correct alignment of the thread.
