The protective grille is a spare part for the ECO range pool counter-current unit. The grille protects the inlet opening of the counter-current pump from drawing in larger debris, leaves and possibly hair — thereby fulfilling an important safety function.
The part is made of durable plastic resistant to chlorinated pool water and UV radiation. A properly fitted grille extends the service life of the counter-current pump and reduces the risk of clogging.
A damaged, deformed or missing grille can endanger the safety of bathers and cause pump failure. Regular inspection of the grille’s condition is part of the basic maintenance of every counter-current unit.
