The TOP SS hose adapter gasket is a rubber sealing element ensuring a watertight joint at the point of connection of the hose to the adapter of the TOP SS filter tank. Without a functional gasket, water leakage occurs, the pressure in the circuit drops and the correct function of the filtration is disrupted.
The sealing material is resistant to chlorinated water, pool chemicals and UV radiation. Replacement is recommended during the annual service inspection of the filtration or when a visible water leak is detected at the point of the hose joint.
Installation is quick and requires no special tools — simply loosen the hose, remove the old gasket, fit the new one and reconnect the hose. A correctly replaced gasket restores the full tightness of the joint and prevents further water losses.
