The reduced hose tail with thread d32×38 – 1½“ is used to connect hoses of two different diameters (32 and 38 mm) with a 1½“ threaded connection, eliminating the need to use two separate hose tails and a reducer.
The 1½“ male thread allows direct connection to a skimmer, pump connection or filtration with a standard thread. The ribbed surface of both hose ends prevents the hose from slipping off even without a hose clamp.
The material of the part withstands pool water, chlorine and mechanical impacts during normal maintenance. The reduced hose tail is the ideal solution wherever the installation combines hoses of different sizes, for example when transitioning from the pump to the vacuum head or the filtration unit.
