The 100 mm diameter impeller (d100 × 10) is the rotating hydraulic component of the Magic 8 pool pump, which drives water from the suction side to the discharge. The correct impeller is a prerequisite for achieving the pump’s rated flow and pressure.
Wear or damage to the impeller manifests itself as a drop in flow, increased noise and motor overheating. Replacing the original impeller with the precise dimensions d100 × 10 is the most effective way to restore performance without having to buy a new pump.
The part is made of high-strength plastic resistant to pool-water chemicals and mechanical abrasion. Installation is accessible to an experienced DIY user – the impeller is fitted onto the motor shaft and secured with a nut, taking care to observe the correct direction of rotation.
