The impeller screw is a precisely toleranced fastening element for ESPA Nadorself T pumps that transmits the torque from the motor shaft to the hydraulic impeller.
Without a correctly tightened screw, the impeller may slip on the shaft, causing a rapid drop in performance and, in extreme cases, mechanical damage to the shaft or pump housing.
