The liquid algaecide Profipool effectively eliminates all types of aquatic algae occurring in pools, from green to filamentous, while at the same time exhibiting bacteriostatic effects against selected pathogenic bacteria.
The dosing in the first week of operation is 150–200 ml per 10 m³ of water; for regular maintenance, 100–150 ml is sufficient. In the event of a sudden and significant algae outbreak, a one-off shock dose of 300–400 ml per 10 m³ is added.
The product is suitable both as prevention and as a solution to the problem in pools where the green discoloration of the water recurs regularly. Use in combination with regular chlorination and the correct pH value extends its effectiveness and reduces the overall consumption of chemicals.
