The low-pressure protection switch for the Mr.Silence MPXC170 heat pump continuously monitors the refrigerant pressure on the suction side of the compressor. As soon as the pressure drops below a safe limit – for example due to a refrigerant leak or clogged filters – the switch automatically disconnects the compressor and prevents its destruction by running without sufficient lubrication.
