The cooling fan is mounted on the motor shaft and, during operation of the pump, actively blows air through the ribbing of the motor cover, thereby dissipating the heat generated during operation.
A damaged or missing fan causes gradual overheating of the motor, activation of the thermal protection, and a shortened service life of the winding – timely replacement prevents this damage.
A single part is compatible with a whole range of ESPA models: IRIS, NOX, Silen I, Blaumar I1/N1/B1, and Tiper 0, so it can be used as a universal spare part for several types of pumps.
Installation is straightforward and requires no special tools – the fan is fitted onto the shaft and secured with the supplied locking element.
