The NORM EVO heat pump with an output of 12 kW is designed for heating smaller private pools with a volume of up to 50 m³. When switched on, the step inverter technology minimises the inrush current to 0 A and gradually increases it to the rated value over approximately 2 minutes, thereby limiting voltage surges and protecting the household electrical grid.
Heat is obtained by transferring thermal energy from the air to the supercooled refrigerant inside the pump; compressing it in the compressor generates heat used to warm the pool water.
