The OX Tester is a set of paper strips for the quick and simple measurement of the hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) concentration in pool or hot tub water. The strips are used in chlorine-free disinfection systems based on active oxygen.
Measurement is instantaneous: the strip is immersed in a water sample for a few seconds, and after removal the colouring is compared with the enclosed colour scale and the resulting value is read off within a second. No laboratory equipment or special training is required.
The pack contains 25 strips, which is sufficient for regular weekly checks throughout the season. The correct peroxide concentration is crucial for effective disinfection – too low and it does not disinfect sufficiently, too high and it may irritate the skin of bathers.
