The OVBD plate heat exchanger has a high heat transfer coefficient and is particularly suitable for heating with a heat pump or solar collectors. The media flow through it in counter-flow, the special embossing of the plates creates turbulent flow and thus ensures very efficient heat transfer as well as reduced sediment deposits. Suitable media include water, steam, air, liquids and gases; others after consultation with the manufacturer.
