The Pleatco PWW50-XP4 filter cartridge is an original replacement cartridge for the filters of Waterway Plastics hot tubs and pools (also compatible with Unicel 6CH-940MPT and Master Deluxe M60401M). The dimensions of 152 mm outer diameter and 205 mm height with a 38 mm MPT bottom thread guarantee precise compatibility without modifications.
The filter medium made of special Reemay cellulose with the patented Free Flow Core system ensures a high water flow with high filtration efficiency. Thanks to the higher number of holes in the cartridge core and the enlarged filter cross-section, debris is captured more efficiently than with standard cartridges.
The service life of the cartridge is approximately 6 months (one season). To maintain performance, the manufacturer recommends cleaning the cartridge once every 1–2 weeks with a stream of clean water or using a non-foaming cleaning agent for pools. After cleaning, it is advisable to let the cartridge dry and rinse it before reuse.
Caution: the bottom thread is fine MPT – do not confuse it with the coarse SAE thread (Pleatco PWW50-P3). Always verify the thread type of your filter before ordering.
