The Pleatco PLBS-100 cartridge is a premium filtration part designed for hot tubs and SPA pools requiring a cartridge filter with a filtration area of 9.3 m² (100 sq. ft). The pleated polyester material of the cartridge captures dirt, oils and particles from tap water to organic contaminants.
The Free Core Flow technology ensures high water flow through the centre of the cartridge, so the pump does not work against excessive back pressure even at a higher degree of clogging. The outer diameter of 135 mm, height of 451 mm and central hole diameter of 54 mm match the standard dimensions of the Leisure Bay, QCA Spas and Waterway Plastics tank series.
The cartridge is compatible with filtration systems marked Unicel C-45397, Filbur FC-22972 and OEM codes 817-0016, 303434 or R173601. The service life of one cartridge is approximately one season (6 months) with cleaning by water every 2 weeks.
