The plug with a diameter of 1 1/4 inch made of durable PVC-U is used wherever it is necessary to reliably blank off an unused threaded outlet of medium diameter. A typical use is closing the outlets of filters, pumps or manifolds during winterizing or system rebuilding.
The BSP 1 1/4 inch external thread is standardly compatible with fittings and armatures on the market. The plastic resists long-term contact with chlorinated water, algaecides and pH adjustment products.
Installation requires no special tools; for hermetic sealing it is recommended to treat the thread with Teflon tape. Operating pressure up to PN 16, maximum water temperature 60 °C.
