Nitrate 1 (PP) reagent sachets are the first component for the photometric measurement of nitrate (NO₃⁻) concentration in pool water. The measuring range of 1.0–100.0 mg/l (ppm) enables reliable detection of both low and high concentrations typical of overloaded pools.
A high nitrate content signals excessive organic loading of the water and can be an indicator of incorrect or insufficient pool treatment. Regular measurement helps decide on the need for a partial water change or increased disinfection dosing.
The reagent is compatible with PoolLab photometers and the flexitester. A pack of 50 sachets provides enough measurements throughout the entire bathing season and beyond. The second component (Nitrate 2) is required for complete determination.
