Pre-Filter FD-18 d210 d110/d110

The FD-18 pre-filter is a large pre-filter chamber basket with a body diameter of 210 mm and a hydraulic connection of d110/d110, intended to capture coarse impurities (leaves, algae, grass, insects) from the pool water before they reach the sand filter tank. By placing the pre-filter in front of the filter tank, the frequency of sand backwashing is significantly reduced and the service life of the filter media is extended. The large volume of the filter chamber minimizes the frequency of pre-filter cleaning and maintains the full flow of the circuit even during a temporarily increased load of impurities after rain or strong wind. The d110 connection corresponds to large industrial installations with high flow.
