The pre-filter lid seal is an O-ring or flat seal located in the seating surface of the transparent inspection lid of the pre-filter on ESPA IRIS NEW, Silen I and NOX pumps.
A properly functioning seal prevents water leakage at the lid during pump operation while also allowing the lid to be opened easily by hand without the need for a wrench.
A cracked or hardened seal causes water to drip or the lid to open with difficulty due to being held by water under pressure.
Replacement is quick — simply remove the old seal from the groove, carefully fit the new one and check that it is correctly seated all the way around before closing the lid.
The original ESPA part guarantees the correct seal dimensions for a perfect fit and long-term tightness on the IRIS NEW, Silen I and NOX models.
